A letter to Lucy...

My dear Lucy;

 You are right, but aiming in the wrong direction... The true competition in love doesn't come from other women; or other men, whatever the case; it comes from within the two people who are in love. And that's the competition that needs to be remove.

 No other woman or man can destroy the love between two people, only the creators can destroy the wonderful, powerful, intense and at the same time frail new love they designed with weaved hands and full hearts.

 For no love survives the struggle that comes between two lovers when one wants to be smarter, stronger, funnier, more powerful, more loved or just plainly in charge... both have to go up and down, be on top and at the bottom, be able to be weak and strong, love and be loved without fear of giving, even more than of taking; otherwise it's not love it's just loveless war...and no one should waste any time on such a ridiculous and sad situation.

 Some people do live like this; and they became nothing but puppets of themselves and the bearers of unhappy heavy souls...

 "It takes two to Tango!", that's so true! How well you do it it's completely in your hands...

 So my dear Lucy, if you really are looking for love, forget about the world around you two and concentrate on the precious gifts that you can share with each other...and if there's nothing else to share, then just say goodbye and leave with a good memorie of something that once was beautiful...

Yours truly,
Sílvia

P.S.: And please don't hit me for giving my opinion...
